Training Walks

One-to-One walk and train programme

Marley’s Mutts offers a one-to-one a specialist ‘walk and train’ programme. This service can be used in combination with our dog training and coaching programmes, or booked in isolation.

FREE Initial Discovery Call

An initial 20 minute discovery phone session is available for all new clients to find out a little more about the needs of you and your pup, and discuss your requirements.

Initial Assessment and Consultation

All walking programmes will be subject to an initial assessment and consultation. This is £95 and includes a 90 minute remote session over zoom, following the completion of the dog history form. We’ll discuss your dog’s history, health & diet, canine enrichment, sleeping patterns, and advise how to manage any unwanted behaviours your dog may be displaying.

The consultation can be booked in isolation, and includes a training plan, and a FREE ebook to get you started. We will call you after one week, to see how you are getting on. The initial consultation is not meant to replace ongoing training for your dog, it simply acts as a baseline, giving you the tools needed to get your dog off on the right paw.

This programme is suited to nervous or anxious dogs who need individual attention; dogs who need ongoing rehabilitation; dogs who are people or dog reactive on lead; or dogs who need to learn to walk nicely, so you get to keep your arms in tact! This is a bespoke training programme, and is a completely separate service to our dog walking programme.

For best results we offer these with a ‘transfer session’ so you are up to speed with your dogs progress. We support and coach you, so you can continue working with your dog in between the sessions. As this is a walk and train service, each session is 45 minutes, not an hour, as your pup will be getting physical, and mental exercise, so it’s very tiring.

What you get:

  • 3 x 45 minute training sessions per month
  • Progress update after each session
  • 1 x transfer session per month
  • Online support in between sessions
  • Minimum 1 month sign up required
  • Sessions carried out by a certified dog trainer
